diy -spark plugs
okay im new to the hemi but been doing alot of reading on this site. im apparently due for the spark plugs and was going to tackle it myself. i took off the air assembly to take a look at it and it seems like i can get almost all of them except the right hand far back ones. i know some people go through the wheel well but i dont understand why?? is it because there is better access that im not seeing for those back ones ?? any tips and tricks will be appreciated.. i got my di-elec for the tips and anti seiz for the threads oh and also p/u the gap tool too.. dont think im forgetting anything..tks in advance
Taking the wheel's and wheel well liners out is the only way to go. it is a lot easier to get to and doesnt' kill your back being bent over for hours trying to get to stuff.
Here is a pic of the access you gain through the wheel well

for tools..

these are awesome. they are the KD tools spark plug sockets.
built in wobble head, magnetic, and the medium one is the perfect length.

You can do it with out a wobble head, all you need is a ratchet, extensions, and the spark plug socket. you can pick up a cheap on for $5 from auto zone that will do the trick. Also for your plugs, use the cheapies...the guy at the parts store may even try and talk you into platinums, etc...it will only cause mis fires. go with champion coppers, best for the hemi!
