Hey, not all of us bashed you. I did the best I could to get 4x4 off your a$$.

But you've got to realize what you're relaying to us here is a bit hard to swollow. We all know our Hemi Ram's have got some ballz, but what you're talking about is a complete mismatch in terms of power-to-weight ratio and other factors. For you to have seriously given this guy a run for his money, you'd have to have done some major power modding to your truck, probably to the tune of a grand or more of go-fast goodies like a turbo kit, headers, the works. Even then it would still be a stretch.

Don't take it so personally. I wish I had a nickel for every time someone made a less-than-believable claim while "bench racing".

And that's all it is, bench racing. You know the truth, that should be good enough.

Take care.

Chris I wasn't talkin bout you, your cool. You tried to help so, your on my very cool list. Its all the others that are trying to bend what I posted. It was only an 1/8 mile stretch. I understand that his car weighs less than half of my Hemi. But the hemi must have more torque or something. And again he beat me. But whatever, I'm done[sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]. I posted, asked you guys for an opinion. But you guys don't have to call me a bull****ter or liar. So thats its. Im done. But I'll post the track video after I go. We made plans to go next wednesday. So till then Peace, Love and Hair Grease.

P.S. Hemi345 go to my pic gallery I posted pics of my TBS and K$N intake.

Hemi345 if your gonna get a TBS don't get the Air Raid. It makes an annoying whistle noise. Get the Jet or the other one. http://www.rpmoutlet.com/ramhemip.htm

i can belive that the hemi stood thru 1st and 2nd gear, cuz they are just the usual ones they go thru fast but yah after 3rd in a cobra, its gone

so with a diffrence of 40 horse power, which a hemi can pick up by adding CAI, headders, exhaust, programmer, chip

so yah i belive he held on til 2nd gear then thats where it the battle ends..

|3|ackAc|D) ....2001 cobras have 320hp NOT 385hp....AND BY THE WAY, I COMPLETELY FORGOT IN ALL THE CLOUD OF BULL**** TO TELL YOU GUYS. THEY NEVER MADE COBRAS IN 2000, THEY STOPPED IN 99 AND STARTED AGAIN IN 2001, THE ONLY COBRA MADE IN 2000 WAS THE COBRA R.
Now your probably going to tell me he had a Cobra R right....

Anyway, just for arguments sake, HERES THE REAL SPECS on the 2001 Cobra:

Type 90° V-8
Bore x stroke 90.2mm x 90mm
Displacement: 4.6 liter/280 cid
Compression ratio: 9.85:1
Horsepower: 320 hp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: 317 lbs.-ft. @ 4750 rpm

And to "YEAH ITS GOT A HEMI" 2001 cobras didnt come with 6 speeds they came with 5 speeds, they didnt offer a 6 speed in ANY MUSTANG until 2003 dumb****, now your just pissing me off and lying your *** off.

Why dont you just fess up that your a liar and we can all call it a day...or you can keep talking and i can further more call you out on 90% of what you say to be Bull****.

It's the 1 & 2 gears in your tranny. They are so small that you can hang with a Cobra up to roughly 30mph. I used to have an '88 Bronco with the 302. I used to smoke all the mustang guys off the line, after 2nd gear they were gone. Just the way trucks are geared.

Anyway, unless you supercharge it and go overboard with mods, there is no way you will beat him.

03Hemi4x4....stand down...you are WAY out of line, and the language that you are using is both uncalled for, and not permitted.

first off...i have seen RC hemis get into the 14s, but if you can show me a 1999 or 2001 cobra (they didnt make a cobra in 00, just the "R") that runs 14s with a manual tranny, I will show you someone who needs driving lessons..they comfortably ran 13.60-13.80 stock. if you launched hard, and he babied the stang, maybe you kept up with him for a while...

secondly, youre ALL paper racing. what if his cousin is still learning with a manual tranny? what is it isnt tuned correctly? there are a myriad of reasons why it is possible for anything to beat anything else...maybe the cousin was trying to make him feel good about his ram...

you guys should try to be a bit less rabid when calling people out on things like this...lets just try to be a little less of ****** when doing so...

thank you for your time, and have a wonderful evening!
