Question anothet lift question

Hey Yall,
Aight I know this has been answered before, I've been doing research and I'm getting headache it. So i Yall can point me in thr right direction. I want to add a few more inches to my truck. I already have a 6 in suspension lift , I do not want to do a body lift now. My question(s) :

Add a leaf or bigger blocks for back ?
2-3 in coil spacers for front?

I read that a 1" spacer gives 1.5"-1.75" of lift, and a 2" will give around 3". Is that correct?
I wanna lift the front 3". A good place to get decent cheap set ?

Also should I get add a leafs or bigger block for the rear ?

I do not off road in my truck, hell I barely drive it now but I wanna go bigger.

Any and all help is appreciated !

For the rear get 2nd gen drop shackles in addition to your current blocks. Not many people here are a fan of add a leafs. As for the front, if you want you can put spacers on the front. Weedahoe has a similar set up to what your looking for. But honestly a BL would be the easiest way to get what you want even though you said you dont want one.

I'll look into the shackles, as for a body lift I think it'll be the last thing I do only because its more expensive than the spacers and shackles/add a leaf.

I've read some bad things about add a leafs from some members but people do have them. Depends on what you want the add a leafs for.

+1 on the 2nd gen drop shackles. If you want more lift, get the stock 2nd gen shackles. Should be available at any big auto parts store. General rule is that the longer shackles give you more lift, but there is a law of diminishing returns, and you shouldn't go longer than the stock 2nd gen units. The 2nd gen drop shackles are about 2" longer than 3rd gen stock, but only give about 1" of lift. I don't know the exact lift number for the stock 2nd gens, but I believe it's ~2". If I had to do it over, I would use the longer ones, even though they would have been more difficult to install.

What do you have in the front right now that's giving you 6"? If there are no spacers already, and you have a 4x2, you can put a 2" spacer above the coil without any issues with your upper "A" arm hitting anything. Nets nearly 3" of lift, so I've been told, but YMMV since you already have a lift installed up there.

I do believe ill be using the shackles, thanks for the input, much appreciated. I ordered the rough country suspension lift, so up front I have 3 in spindles and lift coils. I wanna go about 3 inches higher right now . Also is there anything I should worry about going any higher than I am now ?

You cannot add coil spacers to lifted coils, your UCA will be pressed firmly against the coil bucket if you go higher than the 3" you already have. '02-05 4x2 can be lifted 3" by coil spacer or by lift coils, but if you want to go higher, you can try the 4" spindle from CST, but that will only get you an extra inch. To get past the 7" wall, you will need to start into some major modifications, OR get a 3" body lift. Weedahoe can tell you all about getting past that point. He's at 12" I think?

Yea he's at 12 and if you want any more than 7 inches you'll have to go custom or suck it up and get a BL
