just used some STP Fuel injection cleaner in my 2006 4.7 liter dodge ram. And i have noticed that since i used it that my exhaust is not as loud as it was... and it maybe has affected the tone a bit as well. Is this heard of or am i just crazy???

To be honest i think i have noticed this before when using the fuel injection cleaner before and i just didnt think nothing of it. let me know what you guys think....

 

Any one got an opinion? By the way I still have not ran the gas out that has the stp additive in it.

 

It should have no effect on the exhaust sound unless your injectors were really dirty and it smoothed out the engine.

 

Well the stuff it cleans out has to go some where maybe it did just smooth out the engine or some junk got clogged in the exhaust and it just needs to burn out to get back to normal
