worked great for me... put on the polished stainless ones... once we figured out that the one attachment went to the rocker panel and not the frame, they went on easy... love 'em

I've got tube steps on my list of mods to do and was wondering what model of Westins people are getting? The e-series, signature series, or platinum series. I almost got a set of the signature series in January, but found a killer deal on some 1/2" drive deep impact sockets I couldn't pass up. One of my main concerns is what nwtiki mentioned, that they don't stick out far enough to really get a good foot on.

I have the westin bullet ones. Love em. But I agree about the directions being kinda crappy. But once you get under the truck It makes more sense.

I bought a set of these off E-bay last year for $125 and they have served me well.

I think that they look great but I would never use them. I'm a big boy (385 lbs) and afraid that I'd bend or break them the first time that I stepped on them!

I have not seen if they will support that weight but mine have taken 300 without a problem.

I got some eBay ones also. They've done well so far, however the driver's side hardly ever sees any use, I'm 6'5" and don't need any help getting in and out of the truck. However wifey on the other hand does, and it was necessary to add them to the truck. As far as weight, my so-called friends put them to the test, 2 guys on each side seeing how much they could rock my truck back and forth... They steps held up well...
