Default New wheels = TPMS light?

So I had my new wheels installed the other day and had been driving on them for a couple days. Yesterday im driving and I get this flashing warning light in the cluster. It flashed for a a minute then stayed on. Looked in the manual and found out it was the TPMS light. I didnt even know my truck had that.

Is there anything I can do about it? I have a Superchips 3865 if that helps.

Did the TPMS sensors get transferred from the old wheels? If not, it's time to go back to the place that did the work and get your $300 worth of sensors back or installed properly.

No because they are still on my stock wheels and tires that now sit in my garage. Was going to keep them for spares or possibly winter use if I find a decent set of usd tires for them. Not going to buy new sensors or swap them back and forth.

My new tires are 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers which have a heavier load range anyway. Im running them 45 psi which would still screw up the TPMS from what i read in the manual.

You have the sensors but didn't know the truck had TPMS? That would explain it. The system is looking for the sensors and complaining 'cause they're not there.

I had no idea it had either until the light came on haha. I'm guessing your right. The system is looking for sensors that aren't there.

Did a search and found out I could download a free update for my superchips that disables the TPMS.
