Default Halo Fogs wiring

Hi all

I have a 2004 Ram 1500 SLT.

The truck is fully wired for fog lights, so I went a purchased the light switch plate with the pull out facility for fog lights.

Yesterday arrived my fog lights (Halo projector).

My question is I assume I wire the center dome light up to the fog light circuit, but what about the halo ring? I read somewhere that that has to be wired into the day running light.

Thanks in advance

I know for the halos on my truck, which are in my headlights though they are taped into the running lights. Where did you get the fog halos?

So is it OK to just splice directly into the running lights without relays or fuses

If they are LED halos, then it shouldn't be much of a problem to just tap into the running lights since the additional amp draw is next to nothing. If they are the CCFL halos, you'll have to find out how much amperage or wattage they will draw.

Putting projector fogs in the truck defeats the purpose of having fogs that should give a flooding type light.

You should have added OEM HID projectors in the headlights instead
