I have to wonder if the 5-star rating is out of a hundred stars max, or if they count down with one star being best, but don't tell us!

And "lose a star;" that's a laugh. Has anyone EVER seen a 4-star dealership?
Yes in fact I have and yes they can "lose" a star... you just dont hear them advertise, after all do you think they are going to announce that they are only a 4 star. Always complain to chrysler and make sure you turn in those survey's... everybody gets one when they purchase a new vehicle from any Chry Corp dealership. 1 bad survey is worth 100 good ones and thats a fact.

Sorry to hear anyone who has a bad buying experience. A few things that may just make you mad, but seem very strange.
Why would I get mad they are only questions right? You are just trying to get more info about the situation, I can understand that...

Why did you go two states away to buy a vehicle?
" we bought the truck 2 states away..."
This seems like a very, very, extremly bad move. If it was a one of a kind super deal or a custom truck I could understand, but this... Is this your first vehicle purchase?
Well it was kind of a bad move, we decided late on Friday that we wanted to actually buy a new truck, we knew the options we wanted, and we knew the budget we were going to work with. The problem was that this was the Friday prior to when the employee discount supossedly ending on Monday Sept. 1st, only after we bought the truck did we find out they were extending the discount... So, all day Saturday I spent driving to every known dealership in my area looking for the truck we wanted and comparing prices, by noon I found very little and started calling all the dealerships I knew prior to driving there if I wan't going to find something... I grew up in Elkton Md, where we bought our truck, and I had bought a used car from this same dealership about 10 years ago. So this was one of my calls, I also called every dealership between where I was (in Delaware driving from dealership to dealership at this point) and the dealership in MD to see what they had in stock that compaired to what I wa looking for. So I made a circle and hit a lot of dealerships that day from where we live in PA through DE and into MD... There was one dealership in DE that had something similar, but also had a bunch of things that we didn't care about that just boosted the price, so I chose to go with the one in MD due to price, options, and a previous experiance there...

Which leads me to my second question, you had reservations with this dealership right from the get go. Obviously you should have listened to your gut, why didn't you?
I guess I with all the cars I have bought in the past, over 6, there was always apprehension about dishing out that much money for something, and since this was going to be Maries truck and it was actually the first "new" vehicle I have ever bought, I just chalked those reservation up to that... Man, please don't make me admit I was srared! But I hate th depreciation just driving a new car off the lot, so I always bought used cars about a year or so old...

Finally listen to everyone and contact DCX cusomter service here.. Send in all the make/model VIN information and all the info right off the dealer sticker. Then in writing describe the problems to them and tell them you can provide pictures and provide the website link. If this is a five star dealer they should loose a star, and even though they took resposibility it should have never happened in the first place and you can help other people from going through the same mess.
I did all this already, sorry if I didn't post about it... Actually I had 2 cases opened against them one online and one by phone. but when I talked to everyone there about it they said that since the dealership seems to be helping me then I should stick with it and call back if they start giving me a had time.
