Angry lost power steering and power brakes.....

I was with my friend last night in here 2004 Ram truck with the Hemi engine driving down a hill. The first 2 stop signs were no problem. And then she said that she couldn't steer (lost her power steering) and shortly after she noticed that she also had no power brakes. Truck was still running and no lights went on the dash. Put on the emergency brake and muscled it to the side of the road. We turned off the truck to breath deeply for a second. Tried to restart the truck and it wouldn't restart. Called a towtruck. He checked the belt which was where it should be. Yes, we had gas (had just filled up). On a whim he tried to start it and it started up. Had it towed back to the house and took it for a drive and it seems fine. But something went wrong.
Any ideas of which direction I should suggest?
All in all, it turned out ok but I would like to get to the bottom of it.

The engine obviously died for some reason. Perhaps a dirty throttlebody?

Yeah, sounds like the engine died to me also. No engine running means no vacuum for the brakes and no rotation of the PS pump pulley
