Default New Guy, Serious 2500 Issues

Hello all,

My wife drives a 2003 2500 4x4 (Hemi).

Lately, whenever she gets up to higher speeds, the truck will shake uncontrollably. At the same time, her check engine light is coming on. She will then pull over to the side of the road and everything is back to normal.

This only happens every now and then and is not consistent.

Also, she will try to push down on the gas pedal, but its like the beast is not being fed... doesn't rev or anything.

Any ideas?

Your going to want to post this in the Gen 3 forum as this one only covers 1994-2001 Rams.

Look up 'Dodge 2500 steering stabilizer' that should solve your problem.

I'd start with new plugs/wires, clean the throttle body, etc for the throttle response issue.

Good luck with the no throttle issue. Iv'e got the exact same truck with the same problem. Still haven't figured it out. I'm almost to the point of taking it to the stealership.
