Finally did the TMR delete
I was cleaning out the throttle body on the truck so I decided since I was already under the hood I would try out the TMR delete I have been hearing about. It actually made a noticeable difference at WOT. I have a big heavy 2500 QCSB, I cant imagine what it would be like in a little truck like a 1500 RCSB. But I have two questions. All the threads about it say it will increase wear and tear on the transmission. Will it just driving normally and not at WOT? And also will it affect gas mileage at all? Thanks
It worked on my 02 also, with the 4.7 and 45rfe.
It is actually way better on you Tranny!!
It takes away the slipping allowed inbetween gear shifts, thus making your tranny last longer. (Slipping Gears eat the teeth away)

After reading this thread, I did the TMR also. The actual info thread was a bear to find, but find it I did; what a difference! It seems to pull now with much more authority, whereas before it seemed timid. It pulls hills better, has more power. Still downshifts, but there is no lag now.
