Default Rearend pic - anything about this say LSD or not?

Still having a hard time with the LSD thing. I have no documentation that explicitly says I have LSD or anti-spin, as I've posted several times before, but have been told by a couple of people here that I most likely do. Nobody ever answered my question about whether or not one can tell by just looking at it. In case someone can, here's a pic of what's in there.

Cannot tell by that pic. You need to take a pic looking into the ring gear. In the middle of the ring gear, you can see clutch plates. There's also little openings on the left side(backside) of the ring gear whereyou can see if there's w-shaped clips that hold the clutch packs in place. Pic on the inside is best for us. So, step to the right and angle the camera to the left inside the ring gear..hope that helps?

Oh well, should have figured I needed a different angle. It's already buttoned back up and filled with Royal Purple. I went ahead and just put some additive in it just in case.

Thanks

Don't know about the Rams but the Dakotas have a sticker inside the glove box with all the info.

Yep, been there done that with the glove box sticker and even my build sheet. Nothing I have clearly states that it is LSD or anti-spin axle.

I've posted a couple times before but for this thread's posterity, I'll show it again. Below is a pic of my glove box sticker, followed by all of the D codes on my build sheet.

Then there's only one way to know for sure. Power brake it to a WOT burnout. One stripe = open diff....two stripes = LSD

Your build list doesn't have the following line:
DSA Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle
as such your truck was not equipped with Anti-spin axle from the factory.

Yeh, um - No. I'd like to keep my stuff in one piece for a few more years. I gave the burned rubber up many moons ago.

I do know that I often have trouble jumping on the gas from a dead stop when there is a misty rain going on and I only feel 1 wheel spinning. Weird thing is, this truck has always handled mud and snow just fine. However, it's usually in 4-hi in those conditions.
