finally got it home and starting taking **** off it. it had ugly running boards and rear splash gaurds on it. they are for sale now if anyone wants them great shape. and i took a big *** chrome ram head sticker off the tail gate. lowering it really soon and the rims will be here next saterday so pics will be here then let me knwo what u think good or bad

 

It looks good...but I think you got alot of work ahead of you. Check out Rob[GL]'s headlight mod...really cool mod. Kinda looks like mine but, I have the sport paackage...Nice truck dude! Good luck with all the mods![sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

Wtf was that guy thinking with them running boards? Ya its looking better, you may want to debadage. I think your truck would look ok. I think some exhuast would look pretty good on the rear end.

 

ya side badges coming off wed tomarrow i got to take the lowering springs off my concorde and then wed ima finish the stereo and interor crap so wed is the badges and a wet sand and buff. and finally friday is RIM DAY hehe and im thinking gibson side exit exhaust but i dont know

 

yep, those were definitely some grandpa style looking running boards, nothing more attractive than the plain straight metal look... NOT!!! I wouldnt even bother trying to sell them, just get you a good sledge and beat them silly till they fold and fit into a trash can. Or if they are aluminum take them to the recycle center and get some cash out of them so you can buy a 6 pack. Beer good - ugly running boards bad.

 

What tires are on there now and are those 17" rims? The rims look like mine, and I wouldn't mind having a full size spare that actually had teh same rim... We got a flat over the weekend and had to put on the spare, it looked like crap with one rim not matching the other 3...

 

the rims for 245 70 17"s on them. so far i havent gotten a calling saying my wheels will be late sooooooo my 24"s will be here friday and on the truck saterday i am hoping

 

Cool. I de-badged my entire truck, except for a small ram under the gate handle.

 

I really like the way in the original post he says. "I took of the ugly as$ running boards" then "They are for sale and are in really good shape" LOL. That was pretty funny.

Truck looks good. Lower the back and get some bigger wheels, maybe 18s then some nice low profiles, or 20s, I really liked the headlight amber removal deal That makes it look real clean.I will probably do that to my 05 but I am going to get a set of "Spare headlights" from a friend who owns a body shop. Then I can keep the original pair put up nice and clean.

 

Looks great after the running boards were taken off. Can't wait to see pictures with the new rims on.
