Default New to the DF and a few issues.

I've been a fan of the Dodge truck for a while ,but it wasnt until now that I bought my first one. 2004 1500 Quad with the 5.7, bought it 2/10/2012.
Its nice to have a active forum to get some info from.

1. Bought it 2/10/12 , then next morning 2/11/12 my engine light came on. Hooked to scanner and got O2 senser codes.
Took to dealer on Monday 2/13/12 and they replaced all 4 sensors and got the complimentary car wash.. Then all was good.

2. Last day I drove with was 2/14/12 , parked it at around 8pm. I go to start it on 2/17/12 and just get a bunch of rapid clicks. Hooked to scanner, got P0562 and P0700.
Its now in process of being towed to dealership to be check out,

Any feedback??

Rapid clicks, probably a low battery, that's your starter solenoid clicking.

Thanks guys.. I hope its just battery. I thought that's what could be.. Wondering if something is draining it.? I still am happy with the truck. Already got a new intake on way.

Any opinion s for best exhaust? I've been browsing online and watching you tube. But its always better to see in person.

Yep, that's often a problem buying used off a dealer lot. They tend to sit for a while on what are old batteries to begin with (probably the original since I still have my original on my '04)...

All, is good. it was the battery which I had thought, but just wanted to make sure there was nothing else going on. Dealership covered the tow and battery.

Just ordered me a new KN series 57 CAI.. Should be here in next 2 days!! Any ideas for a next upgrade.
I came across a local guy selling a Superchips flashpaq for 100.00 , and Ive seen alot of talk about tuners, but Im not to familiar with them or using them.

So far the overhead say Im getting 11.5--14.1 MPG, I drive 18 miles to work , rural roads at about 50-55mph, and have only been on insterstate a small amount at 65-70.
Would like to increase my MPG a little, I have been taking it easy on the pedal to see what I can get, but I do have 20" so I know i am losing a little.

when i worked at a Dodge dealer i cant tell you how many times ive had to hook a jump pack up to a car and let it run for a while. dang sales people wouldnt turn off dome lights, also the dealership didnt want to swap out for a new battery when a used car would come in.
