Default Wheel noise

First post but I have used this site a lot for advice.

I have an 05 hemi sport quad cab 4x4. I have a wheel noise while making right hand turns. I have replaced both front wheel bearings and the noise is still there. Could it be the tire? Any help please this is driving me crazy.

This might sound really stupid. But, I was getting a noise only when I turned left. I was dead set on thinking it was my pass. bearing. Until one day I was under my truck and noticed my muffler was scrapping my frame.
Not, saying that's anything like your problem, but keep your mind open on what it could be.

Besides the hub, it could be a worn ball joint, tie rod/end, a brake caliper or even the rack. Best way to tell is to jack up the front side where the noise is coming from and commence to start tugging on things...

That's why I suggested that YOU raise the front up and tug on sh*t, odds are if you take it to a shop/dealer they'd just start replacing components either in one big swoop or one at a time till they got it right and that would not be FUN but would be a lot or MONEY...

05 has a disconnect front axle correct? The bearings that support the inner and intermediate axle shafts can wear causing a wheel bearing like noise that changes when you load and unload it.

If your asking if it has locking hubs, the answer is no. They are always spining, the primary reason for the poor gas mileage.

They don't have locking hubs, but the passenger side front axle has a disconnect. A motor attached to a fork which rides on a sleeve that slides back and forth when you engage 4wd. so the passenger sife axle has an inner axle shaft, a colar, and outer axle shaft, then the CV shaft. I think these were used on the push button 4wd set ups, not the manual shifts.

That outer axle shaft has a bearing and the axle tube has a race, this can wear causing a bearing noise very similar to a wheel bearing noise.

Update. Sorry I haven't posted on what happened. I took the wheels off and played with everything. All seemed ok. I started checking the tires and one tire had a small bubble in it and is wearing really weird. I switched it with a bak tire and the noise went away. Now I get to go buy new 20" tires. Yay for me.
