Exclamation Ignition Problem causing Blower motor to shut off

I have a 2005 Ram 1500 SLT - 5.7L Hemi 110,000km/68, 350miles

About three weeks ago my blower motor shut off (no air at all from vents) while driving. I pulled to the side of the road then it kicked back on... after a few days i noticed the problem had to do with my ignition; whenever the heat cuts out, I have to give the key a slight tap up and towards the off position but careful to not completely shut all electrical off (has happened a couple times) and then my heat would turn back on but the problem is getting worse... I need my heat in this cold Canadian weather! any help would be greatly appreciated

Apparently, the ignition switch fails fairly often in these trucks.
