Default Strange turn signal issue

Hi, I've got an 04 1500 with a strange turn signal problem. All the bulbs are good but when I put the turn signal on, left and right, the turn signal bulb and the indicator lights in the dash do not match up. The indicator light in the dash seems to be blinking slightly faster than the bulbs are on the outside. It seems almost as if there's a ground wire loose somewhere or something but I'm kinda stumped.

I had a similar problem a couple times. When I would turn on, for instance, my left turn signal the indicator light would be for the right turn signal. The problem for me was the multiposition switch. I've had to replace it twice now.

Nice, at least mine isn't that bad. It only bothers me at night when I can see the bulb flashing and hear the indicator not matching it. I looked in the fuse panel but didn't see anything referring to turn signals so I might just try the switch then.

The multifunction switch problem was a 06 + issue I believe and quite expensive.
Plus you are experiencing different symptoms.
I would try a new flasher.

I hope you did not pay anything for both replacements.

I didn't think these trucks had a flasher relay on them, just a power module thing. At least, that's what I've read.

I'm not sure you have a problem at all...

Pretty sure there isn't a mechanical flasher anymore. The electronics are nice enough to give you an artificial click sound, though.

I believe the "click" is generated separately from the flasher function,
park in front of a garage door/wall and put your turn signal on, if you watch the reflection off the wall you'll notice the flashing and the "click" aren't in phase.

That's just the way it is...isn't new technology wonderful?

I did. The flashing arrow and click in the dashboard are the same speed. The bulbs don't match up. It's not a big deal but after reading about the fuse box failures in these trucks, I was just wondering if this was a sign.
