Sounds like your condensor is partially clogged. If you spray the condensor fins fwith a garden hose, I bet you'll have cold A/C when idling.

I'd say you need a tune-up for your idle issue and they are not directly related.
plugs are due every 30kmi, check your wires and clean your T/B.

 

Dog, I bought the truck 2 weeks ago first thing I did was replace wires plugs cap and rotor. I ran a full tank with throttle cleaner. Idle cleaned up alot but still searches with the Ac on.
