By far. The only way to replace the entire housing is to pull the dash out. If you do a search on how to do it you'll see you're looking at at least 8 hours.

Someone posted a step by step with pics a few weeks back. Do a thread search for recirc door and see what's involved. I'm talking just the door replacement, not the whole housing. I don't recall anyone replacing the whole housing. Not in this group anyway.
