Default Looking for some help - Truck is sluggish

2002 Ram 1500 4.7L. When in park it seems fine. When in gear it seems to be missing. The RPMs go up and down about 100RPMs. Its idling around 500RPMs. As I drive its sort of sluggish, hesitating. As I get going it goes. Freeway driving at speeds of 60mph or more its a little slow to get up to speed, and I feel like a jerking feeling, A hesitation I guess? I was thinking the trans, so I change the filter and new fluid. Still doing it. As I thought about it though it seems its like a fuel problem or somthing with acceleration not the trans.Changed the Trottle Position Sensor and it seemed to stop for a week, and started doing the same thing again. Ive heard of fuel filter problems sounding like these symtoms but was told I dont have a fuel filter on this truck. I have 135000 miles on it. Does anyone have any insite?

ALL cars/trucks have a fuel filter. Who told you it didnt? However its not like the old cars/trucks where its in front of the carb. They all are in the fuel tank on the pump. Ive never seen one that needed to be changed unless someone put something in your tank.

135k huh? Did you clean your throttle body? Change plugs/wire? Change air filter?

I had the same problem on my truck and I changed the following sensors and it fixed the problem.....
I changed the Map sensor, Knock sensor (2 of them), Crank position sensor, and the Cam position sensor, and it finally stopped.
I paid about $200 for all sensors total but I sure did feel great after driving around for a year with the sluggish hesitation, bogging down, and jerking at highway speeds.

Note** There was no check engine light on or anything and the dealership kept telling me it was the tranny but I paid $900 for them to change the valve body and it didn't work so of course i got a refund.
I cleaned throttle body, changed plugs, wires, fuel pump w/ filter, coil packs, air filters, and all dat crap and it still did the same until i changed these sensors. To this day I dont know which one it was but I figured it was time to change them anyway with 126,000 miles on it and I've been a happy camper ever since. Entire install on all sensors took about 45 mins.
* Map sensor on intake pops out easy but new one had different flange on it and had to saw piece of plastic off of intake-works perfectly
* Knock sensors are under truck on each side of block
*Cam position sensor is under alternator (view from passenger side)
*Crank sensor is under truck on passenger side also

This should fix the hesitation, sluggish, bogging down, lightning image on dash flashing and truck cutting off.....Good Luck and let me know !

I dont know if this is part of the same string of problems described above, but My truck as well has this weird problem that's intermittent which is when I drop speed slightly and then accelerate afterwards (mostly highway speeds) it wont do jack squat even if I press gas pedal down to the floor, then after about 20 seconds maybe or more it will pick up and go....RRRRRRR... (as if it had a boost button like in a computer game hahaha) yeeeaaahhh, it goes, fast! (but oops, it's a little too late!) Kind of a concern when you try to get around somebody etc.
Never does this when you crank it up to speed the first time... So far...

Oh and it also throws p0070 which I know means nothing by itself...but
