Default Towing Mirrors - vibrations? Warped glass?

I installed my new towing mirrors yesterday (fold-out-style) and I am not happy. The mirror glass seems to be warped which makes everything look weird stretched and they vibrate (glass only), especially at highway speeds. Is this normal with this type mirrors?

No. Are they OEM or aftermarket brand mirrors?

My OEMs don't do this and the glass is absolutely flat. That took some getting used to, since "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" has been around a long time.

I bought my truck with them on already so im not sure where they came from, but only on my drivers side I'm getting the vibration of just the glass. Mine don't seem to be warped like yours. I'm wondering if the bracket or whatever inside the mirror that holds the glass broke on one side causing it to vibrate.

Can someone post a closeup pic of the glass part with the plastic backing? Mine seems pretty thin, that's why they're. Ot flat and straight.

Its normal for the drivers side to vibe more or if any tan the pass side because the drivers side door is constantly getting opened and closed.

I notice a slight shake in the glass when I installed my tow mirrors. I scored an OE set off craigs list. Pretty much what weed said

Aftermarket from eBay will rattle like hell !! Ok mirrors for the money but the mirror glass itself should not be wavey or distorted like you said.

Yep, a LOT of posts about the knock off ones being a POS. This is one time it may very well be worth paying top $ for the Mopar ones...
