285/75 - 17 fit perfect with no mods of any sort, and no rubbing.
I have the toyo MT's in that size, and they are a 34.1" tall tire. They actually look "normal" on the truck. I have a 2008 2500 (3rd gen) compared to your 2010 (4th gen) though, and don't know if that makes a difference or not.
