Default Tire Sizes for a 2500HD 4x4

Will 35 inch tires fit on a 2500 HD 4x4 with 17 inch rims? If not what's the largest tire size I can use without lifting the truck?

Power wagon is stock with 285 70 17, as for that specfic size in in, that I don't know, I have seen 305 70 17 in on ram 2500 with stock suspensions.

When you up size tires on the stock rims, it will add extra wear on brake pads, ball joints, front u joints, rear u joints, stearing componants and will decrease your trucks towing ratting.

You've got tons of height space but it is the width that can be a problem. If you are cool with the classic cookie-cutter look than you've got room on stock suspension but if you want it meaty and tall then you may want to give it a modest lift.

Looks like you will need at least a level kit with 35's.

Nice lights there weedahoe, took me a second to realize you changed pics.

I have 315-70-17's on stock rims. Factory height on the tire says 34.5, but they are actually about 33.25 on the rim. The only problem is they rub the upper control arm at full lock left and right. Installed a 2" lift and they still do it. But they should fit your truck as well.

Yup that's what I'm saying. Lots of height room but width is a pain. Wheel spacers can help that but you get that frog look.
