Is this rod knock VIDEO INSIDE
Ok well for some reason when i did the compression check it all checked out but they did the check again and it turned out 0 on cyl 1 and 50 on cyl 2. So im guessing the valves closed when I did it and they were open when they did it.
Still not sure why it turned out they way.

Sorry it is 2200 to replace big part of labor is 10 to remove head then put the head back on.
I am getting a reman head on the drivers side. Sense rebuilding my head is going to be 400-500 and thats just the valve job not the springs or anything.
The knocking sound I was having was the pistion just floating up and down sense they had no compression.
Bunch of bull**** but it happens just wish dodge would really man up to the problem that they are having with these heads. I was talking with a guy there and he said it is a all to common problem.

Didn't I say dropped valve seat way back when you first posted???
You actually got off pretty lucky at $2200. It's 10 hours just to remove/replace the heads on a 4.7.
My piston got taken out, along with both heads as the seat went up into the manifold and to the other head. It's gonna cost me every bit of $1500 to rebuild AND I'm doing all the labor - would be about a $4000 repair to have it done at the dealer using Mopar parts...

Ok #1 piston the valve seat dropped onto it and pretty much screwed it up. So I need a new piston ring and rod.
There on back order unless someone can save my *** right now and pull that out of there butts lol but yea I'm screwed right now

I got all 8 from Rock Auto, aftermarket though, not Mopar. Dunno the price as I got it as part of a kit, I'm thinking I saw the piston by itself for around $40 though. BTW, the Mopar one, at the dealer is like $210 by itself. Might even be less for you, I needed domed pistons for the HO engine.
So I guess this means you ain't picking it up today???
Here's a company will sell you all 8 plus rings for under $150:
