Default Ram Air Induction System

Has anyone seen, heard, bought or installed this? I have a 2005 QC Daytona with the stock SRT-10 type hood, always thought it was a good candidate to take advantage of the open scoop on the hood, just not sure what this induction system would do as far as performance and sound increase. It says it gets routed to the cold air intake, so I don't think this will provide a direct ram air effect since it doesn't go directly to the throttle body.

seems to me that the price to performance ratio isn't really worth the money.... it might add 1-2 hp i'm thinking over just having a CAI. if you didn't already have the hood this system would cost $1588, and even if you did just the CAI and the piping from the scoop would still run you $771. You'd be better off spending the money elsewhere, but that's just me.

If you have their recommended CAI, i think you would get the ram air since you are forcing air directly to the CAI, you wouldn't want it unfiltered to the throttle body. I have to agree with mustang though, seems like unless you have all the other parts for the $$ you could probably do better for performance gains. If you are looking for the sound or just have some $$ to throw around, maybe its worth it.
