Default Front CV Axle****

Im having a lot of difficulty getting my front CV axles off so I can change out the axle seals...any one have any tips on removing them?

Where are you having trouble? Are you using a pry bar to 'pop' them out of the diff?

I'm assuming you've split the bottom ball joint, the only thing keeping the cv's in is right at the diff?

Sometimes they are really stubborn, I can't think of anything else that would be holding you up.

Default Finally!

Took a hammer for the driver's side....and the passenger side...I had to pull the whole snub shaft out and hammer off the shaft....after I cut the boot off the axle....what a mess. Turns out that the snub shaft had a little rust on it, made it more of a problem to take it off.
