I paid $2.67 yesterday afternoon before prices started really going up....most of the gas stations around here (Atlanta) are out of gas completely

here in chicago i paid 3.35 a gallon for midgrade. the minimum octane i guess you can put in a hemi

 

NO....87 is the minimum you can put in a Hemi (and what I will be using from now on). 89 is the recommended octane.

 

As of last night before I left for work a girlfriend of mine was checking out our surf spot and she called to say that gas in La Jolla was $3.50/ gal.........OUCH!!!

$3.29 all over in San francisco for 87,don't ask what premium is.

 

It's $3.45 a gallon here on Long Island. If it ever goes to $5.00 a gallon, the US will have serious economic problems. With prices now, you'll see prices in all products rise dramatically. One thing, Greenspan won't raise rates. BTW, I'm selling my truck and buying a VW Bug with its 1.8 diesel engine. It gets the best mpgs of all the autos. I'll wait and see what Detroit comes up with, perhaps the new Gladiator? God bless all those victims after Katrina and the survivors.

Down the street from my house is this Gulf Station. There flying a huge weather balloon to get attention. it's just off of I-295 ,anyway on Friday morning ,gas was $2.81, two hours later it was $3.03 , today it's on sale at $3.26 ..for reg. ( New Castle ,Delaware) Happy Labor Day.
