Gas Prices in your area.
OK Everyone,
NOT that I'm complaining because I'd drive my truck everyday even if gas went to $5 a gallon, but today I paid $2.70 a gallon for 89 octane in South Burlington, VT. So now I'm curious because I heard on the radio shortly after I filled up that the average price in the US is $2.55. Well, I know that that's for the cheaper 87 octane, but I'd still like to know where you can get gas at that price. SOOOOOOO...what are you paying at the pump and where?

2.57 here in Phoenix, but I paid 2.89 when I was in California last week...
I'm gettin' 14.5 MPG around town in my '04 1500 QC Hemi, so I think I'll have to get on my motorcycle a lot more often now!

Lowest I've seen was 2.65 for 87 last night in South Florida-Ft. Lauderdale area. I filled up last night (2.69 for 89 octane on "SUPER-SUNDAY") and it was $80[sm=jawdrop.gif]. The sad part was that I wasn't even empty yet. I had like 1/16 of a tank left on the gauge and I can ride for a day when it goes under the red E line. Oh well. The price we pay for having a truck.
