my rad reservoir is leaking when hot

it leaks at the point where the top and bottom are glued together. napa can not get one. said there is no after market part. said to try salvage yard or go to dodge dealership . is there a fix for this i can try?

Plastic welding-----you'll have to look around to find someone, but having said that, a wrecking yard may be your best bet.

As said, ebay, salvage yard, ect.

They make after market tanks too

took a lil bit but i found one at a salvage in next town north of me. dodge dealer wanted $89 i got my used one for $25. granted its used and could happen again next week but worth the risk for almost a 1/4 of price

has any one else had this problem? seems like a lame design. why not a one piece blown bottle? i gess maybe the 2 piece is cheaper or easier to make but 2 pieces of plastic glued together doesnt seem right with a pressurized hot liquid system.
