cruise control not working after 63mph
Hello, I'm new here and got a huge problem...I have a ram 2500 5.7 hemi gas engine slt 4 door with 8 ft bed. I have had this truck for 3 months in and out of dealerships and they can't figure out why the cruise shuts down after 63 mph. Otherwise it works just fine. I do not have big tires on it. It has the normal 17's on it that it is suppose to have. The dealership had a expert come up from Iowa and said to replace the power train module and the abs module and that will fix it....well it didn't...no one around Madison Wig can figure out why this is happening to this truck so thought I would try my luck here... the speedometer is calibrated so I know that's not it so any idea on what I can do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What model year of truck do you have?

Since the cruise system is a pressurized system I'd be looking for a leak in a line or a failed clamp. Odds are it's a small leak which doesn't effect the system until pressure builds to a point (which would explain why it stops working at higher RPMs or basically around a certain speed).
I helped a girl diagnose this same issue on her truck a few years back and found a cracked hose:

Which caused the same symptoms you are experiencing. Replacing the hose fixed the problem in her case...

Next thing to check is speed and ABS sensors to make sure they are not damaged or malfunctioning.
