Misfiring 4.7
Just had the heads rebuilt and put them back on. New gaskets and rebuilt heads. only throwing codes for coils. No misfiring codes, my buddy changed to coils with ones he had and said the ones he took out were very hot as hell and spark plugs were black. When he changed a couple of coils some of the codes went away. I hope there is not a problems with the heads that would suck. he is thinking electrical but will get his scanner tuesday and find out whats going on.

My buddy scanned the truck and didnt come up with anything to tell him whats going on. He is taking a guess that the chain jumped a tooth and that timing is off causing coil codes to come up. His friend at the dealer said there was a case with another vehicle that had the same symptoms and that was the case. He is going to open it up and pray that is the problem. Anybody have this issue or ever heard of it.
it took my friend a while to figure it out. scanner showed timing was right and everything. it took talking to it buddy at the dealer and they have 1 other incidence of it same symptoms same codes. driving on the parkway now truck seems to be running perfect no misfiring thank God
