getting new shocks and have a question
I just ordered the Rancho quicklifts from summit and now I will have to wait until they arrive. I need new shocks since I'm at 89k and one of my coil springs is sagging so thats why I went with the loaded quick lifts. This way I will get my truck leveled a little bit. Hope they work out great and do what I am looking for.
When I do the swap out is there anything I should get before hand? Like new lower shock bolts or anything? Just trying to make sure I can install them without any trouble when I get them.

The one spring just went bad somehow and is a little bit closer together then the other side so I just want to replace them. And I dont know if I understand what your asking but its just a new cover over with the strut and spring as one unit.
You don't need a spring compressor, I just installed the same on my truck and had a problem with the lower mounting bolts not wanting to come out, if I had to do it all over again i would definitely buy some lower bolts and bushings then just return them if you don't end up needing them. Took a ball joint press and a cutting torch to get the one out. My truck had 50 grand on it when I did mine bit who nos you might get lucky and they will pound out for ya.

Mine took a air hammer and chisel(front both sides) to get off. And then torching the top bolts onthe shocks to the springs. Total time 21/2 hours. Was not fun. And yes you'll need a spring compressor for help.

Spring compressor shouldn't be necessary since you got the loaded (complete struts) quicklifts.
beware of the lower shock bolt/mount. mine were seized up solid and nothing would budge them. finally had to cut them out and replace the bushing.

this thread gives all of the part numbers for the bushings.
