Welcome to the site. The CEL light coming on is trying to tell you something. Why are you ignoring it?

Stop by a local auto part store and let them connect their handheld to the truck and pull the codes. Write them down and post them here. Only then can we help you more

thanks, however i did and they could not figure it out, and THE CRAP COST ME $600.00 DOLLARS. They had no idea what it was, and wanted to change all the sensors on the truck. That would cost me the thousands which i dont have. And this was the dodge dealership.... they were fishing for the problem and couldnt pen point it

Auto zone and places like it will connect their handheld to the truck for free and tell you trouble codes. From there, then you can use the DTC codes to narrow down your issue

yup, need the codes. Do the key trick and see if you can get them that way, or hit up autozone. There's a decent chance we can help with the codes but without it's pretty hard to narrow it down.

Codes before the stealership takes all your money. You dont have to do the work yourself to fix the codes but knowing about your problem would help you save money so the guys up at the dealer wont try and pull a fast one on you!

Did I miss a few hidden posts somewhere?

I still dont see your CEL codes and I really dont see anyone what suggested anything to you other than to get the codes and you really didnt say what your resolution was other than maybe filling up your tank?

Your detailed answers are what might help another member
