It is but I can't afford to pay shop to do it so my plan is to drive it and do my best to rebuild one while mine hopefully holds up. That way I can buy bearing kit , save up , buy eaton tru trac, and try to not screw it up . Then if mine survives rebuild it or have as back up, it just freaks me out that it could lock up on me , no way I can drop 1,200.00 greenbacks now,
Ahhhh, I see what your saying. $1,200 is alot of money. Most rear diff guys around me will re-build the rear for around $400-$600. Not sure what the total price is for the gears + rebuild kit.
