Default Difference between ram 1500 and 2500 gas models

Hi there. So i have a 2006 dodge ram 2500 and am under the impression that my truck has heavier duty suspension and is overall more heavy than the 1500. My question is are there any other differences? Mainly I am trying to put aftermarket headers on my 4wd crew cab model but the majority of sellers only list these headers as fitting a 1500 model. Im guessing the majority of them dont even know a 2500 gas model exists but I figured I'd make sure before purchasing. Will ram 2006 ram 1500 4wd headers fit my ram 2006 2500 4wd truck is esentially my question. Thanks for the help!

Well the differences just so you know are: A heavier, beefier frame, a larger rear leaf pack, beefier front end suspension, 8 lug axles and hubs, a solid front axle compared to independent front suspension and for the 2006 your engine does not have the MDS system. As for the headers, if I recall from a thread I read the other day they will not fit even though you would think they would. If you're willing post up some pics of your stock headers and how they run down your exhaust
