No trouble, until you have trouble that is... How would you know the gasket is intact without looking? Why would you blow off a $1 gasket, anyway?

See previous post. I blow a few puffs at it, no pull, no problem. Not like its a liquid seal, if it's airtight what's the problem?

Noise started long before I cleaned the TB, that was just its yearly cleaning. Ive had an Airaid tube on there that just goes to the stock box for over a year. The noise showed up about 3 weeks ago. As far as o2 sensors, never heard that one before. Noise seems to be coming from higher in the engine compartment.

I had a whistle during acceleration from about 10-30 mph. Changed to k&n filter tonight and no more whistle. I think it was where the ebay Cai tube mated with the trash filter that came with it. I figured originally it was just hearing the air pull past the butterfly because the baffle was gone. But with the new filter no more whistle. It was the same sc like sound. But if you're running baffle delete tube to the stock box, that can't be your issue.

I'm a diesel guy and I understand gas engines a little but everytime a rig makes that noise we do check the pulleys and bering ect. But a lot of the time with these engines it's usually a head gasket or a cracked head I don't think on a gas engine it would be a cracked head but maybe a gasket

Would that be a solid whistle, or like intermittent on downstroke for the cylinder where the crack/gasket breech is near? Like a steady weeeeeeeee vs wee wee wee wee. You know better than I would. Its hard to diagnose via text description of a sound lol.
