Question 02 Dodge Ram 1500 Electrical Problem

I am new to this so please help me in any way. I have a 02 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9. I got in it and cranked it up and as soon as I turned on my headlights, The engine died and I lost power to everything. The red led light on the dash started to flash like the battery was dead but the engine still turns over but will not crank. I still do not have power to anything at all but the engine will turn over with the ignition swicth. Please let me know what could be wrong. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to DF
So you mean the engine turns over, but will not start up? First thing i would do is check for spark and fuel pressure. I will move your post to the 3rd Gen Ram section.
