Headers for 05 1500 hemi ram
Given the opportunity, I would always go long tube. Money has been tight for a while, as well as time. I think going shorty would save me both for now. I wasn't considering an exhaust swap but I can't stand the exhaust leak, both the ticking as well as the slight loss in power (regardless if it's real loss or perceived, leak is worse than no leak)
How are the Pace Setters holding up? Much lower price than most others. Makes me wonder.
Thanks for the replies. Good info here.

i spent a ton of money on a set of TTI longtubes and their Y. Came with cats, etc and you dont have to extend any sensor wires, but I'm still having issues getting them 100% sealed against the head. They were a bit of work getting them in too. Dynatech might be similar or better quality, and i think theyre cheaper now, they just were backordered when I wanted them.
went with heddman on mine and very noticeable in power. running no cats with the non-foulers and true dual 2 1/2" to flowmasters dumped. purrs at idle and screams at WOT. did a shorty swap on a buddies truck about a year ago. could barely notice a difference but was a little better, nothing compared to my LT's tho. he just bought a set of LT's hisself because of mine, id say go with the LT's. will cost a little more but its like getting a 4.7 and wishing you had gotten the hemi...
what else do you have done to the truck? while i was at it i swapped the tstat and installed an efan as well. runs so much better at the track now and a lot shorter time betweens runs so i wont hotlap.
