You had better have a lot of spare money for a 6.1 intake setup. FYI though, the TB is the same.

Good i was about to spend some time doing searches on the difference in two TBs.
Why so much money for the setup? Even tho they arent worth more than looks?

those look good ^^ and i meant to say a ported TB* ill probably do all that at the same time when i do the heads and cam if i ever do. may just go with a different custom intake. i somewhat remember reading about the swap and i know its a bit of work and money to do but if i have it, why not? is there a better intake manifold out there? id really love to swap out the tranny to a tko500 but thats like a 3grand swap. maybe when i win the lotto haha i plan on keeping the truck as long as i can and if the engine goes out, well a 6.4l will be going in it. idc how much work i have to do to get it to work. i need to swap the gears out in it before anything and replace the front hubs and all four shocks. tax return? ha if only i didnt have the 96. its a little harder on the wallet having two projects that are trucks on top of it! my gf has my 06 hemi right now and every now and again she tells me she beat someone out there in houston, she loves it! guy tried telling me today that the 4.7 is better than the hemi while i was checking out his prerunner style front bumper. he said his buddies hemi blew at around 60k miles, well any engine will blow if you dont take care of it lol ive raced his little 5speed '03 before and sorry your 4.7 just cant keep up, even if it sounds like a bat outta hell since your running no exhaust i need a car for daily commute tho, thinking srt4 next year? oh yeaaaa

edit* yea ill probably have the heads ported at a shop, the custom ones are too much. cam would probably be the inertia motorsports spartan max plus (a new cam he has yet to produce, the hemi in the rams like it better than his original spartan max) youtube the cam tho! great vid with open headers too
