I'd love to.....however, the site has me blocked at 2 images (190kb). If I put new ones up I need to remove the other 2 (170kb).

What am I missing here?

upload to a photo sharing site like photobucket, then you can copy the link into the insert image option, i don't think there's a limit doing it that way, at least i've uploaded dozens of photos no problem

It's been awhile.....i've been busier than a one legged guy at an *** kicking contest.
I've already put 8000 kms on the truck....mostly pulling the work trailer... and it's exactly what I needed.

Fuel consumption is something tho behold.

400 kms to a tank ($115) when pulling the trailer. 500 kms (downhill with tailwind) not pulling the trailer. Seems like a lot.

On the upside (?) I had some more warranty work done.

A complete rear diff rebuild. Pinion gear, bearings, seals etc. Approx. $1500 that Chrysler ate. Lucky me?

I dunno. I would have been pissed paying for it but I kinda wonder why it would wear so esily with only 78,000 kms.

I'm glad for the warranty.

We had our first blast of snow. The wife was the lucky driver of the Ram that day. She found it quite squirrelly in 2wd.
4wd made her much more confident....although she misses the Pilot.

I miss the Pilot some days too....especially in parking lots.

Nothing much else to report so I will take this early opportunity to wish one and all a safe and merry hoilday season.

Glad to see the truck's working out for you. 115$ a tank sure doesn't make me miss living back east. We're right about 1.06 for mid grade so I never hit 100$. At least not yet :P You should be able to push 600clicks on the highway but 400-500 sure seems like a normal average. Trucks come with big gas tanks for a reason! I know the first few tanks were hard to swallow after selling my Prius for the truck.

UPDATE:

The truck went back in for the diff again.

The inner axle bearings were howling....they either did not change them first time around or they screwed them up on installation..

Again...under warranty.

Running good, though.

I recently got almost 650kms out of a tank driving highway with cruise on 105kph.

Not bad.....but what a boring...(yet safe!) drive.

Glad the truck is running good for ya. I have a hard time getting much over 600-630kms on a tank with my gearing but then again I'm driving around 115-120. If you go 105 around here you'll get run over by big rigs! Not that I miss the 80 and 90 speed limits of northern ontario but it sure was good for mileage.
