Whistling from mirrors?
New to the RAM and I have a 2004 1500 Laramie with the trailer mirrors and I am getting a whistling noise and I can't locate it. I am thinking that is the mirrors but am unsure....any ideas? It changes the tone as the speed increases.
I noticed that the door rubber had a tear and thought that it was it but no go.

The door seals are notorius for this, dont count them out.
Wind noise from doors...Either the seals are squashed or your doors are misaligned. Two ways to fix this. Either bend the top of your door frame in a little bit or go purchase the updated(thicker) weatherstrip seals at your local dealer. This has generally been an issue on older models 2005-prior but can still happen on newer one's as they age.

Ok got a chance to really look at last night and found that the drivers seal is torn and allow air to blow up into the seal. So looks like I am replacing the seal. The passenger side does it but not as bad. I just bought the truck and it is in next to perfect shape. Older couple owned it and drove it around town, it was a perfect find.

Ok update the tear is not creating the whistle. I have been putting my hand all over the place and can't alter or stop the whistle. The whistle is omni directional so hard to tell where it is coming from but does change tone at different speeds. So I am leaning to the door seal event though is great shape and no sign of wear has to be replaced.
Here is the tear..
