Default Strut Leveling Units

This may have been asked and if so sorry for the dumb *** question on my part.

I have an 07 1500 QC 5.7 and i need to replace my front struts. Im looking at either the Rancho quickLift Loaded or the Bilstein 5100 Offroad Leveling Unit.

Wondering if anyone has either one and how well they work as well how much modification is need for the Bilstein if any?

Bilstein should be pretty straightforward, or at least more or less the same as any other shock install. You will need an alignment no matter what you do. Can't remember for sure but you may have to be careful with your front brake lines, might need to free them up while installing, I don't think they need extended but it might be easier to install with them loose. Great mod, post up some pictures if you do it.

Thanks ewing. I figured it should be the same install but wasn't sure since the site posted "Depending on the vehicle chassis and race set-up, some modifications may be needed to adapt these to your suspension." and I really didn't want a half day job turning into a all day affair with a hot hammer.

I will defiantly post pix once I'm done.
