Default Maintenance / Shop Manual..What's the best? What's your favorite?

Looking to assemble the best maintenance / shop manuals available for my 2008 Ram with the 5.7 Hemi.

I don't mind spending the $$ on the right stuff as the correct literature will save $$ in the long run.

Suggestions?

Anyone need or want to part with any?

I guess I would start by downloading the Factory Service Manual from Weedahoe for free.

Prety much the rest of "what you need to know" is practicle knowledge right here on the forum.

That's what I want. Can you get them in hardcopy or are they download only?

They serve a purpose but I don't trust them completely.

I have an old Mercedes Benz.......the factory manuals: chassis / engine equal about 6" of paper.

The same manual from Chiltons is about 1.5".

See what I mean?

Don't get me wrong....I like to use them for reference because sometimes the pics help and there are alternate tools that can be used.

They can be had on cd, but you'll get the exact same thing from WEED, generally, I believe they run around $90. Thats $90 bucks you can spend on something for your truck,

Chilton is a decent manual---at least it used to be, but I woundn't give a nickle for a haynes manual unless there was nothjing else

You might consider a subscription to all data too

So the CD is $90 and WEED is free.

Nothing like free weed....except for maybe free beer.

Thanks for the suggestions.
