Default Rear end problems

I have a 2007 dodge ram 1500 thunder road edition and today I noticed a clicking sound from the rear end, it sounds like a card in the wheel of a bicycle. It doesn't do it all the time.... Mostly through acceleration. Any ideas if what the problem could be?

May be an early sign that the carrier or pinion bearing might be on its way out

BLC,

Are there any other common occurrences when this happens? Such as going up hill or down? In cold or warm weather? I would recommend having it looked at by a Dodge dealer, for a thorough diagnosis if you haven't already.

Feel free to PM me if you have any other inquiries.
