I have an 02 ram 1500 4.7.my problem is when I accelerate then slow down to a slower speed and try to accelerate again it hesitates.or if take a corner and give it gas it will hesitate for a couple of seconds then picks up. Please help

you are going to have to describe the type of hesitation a little better.

Does it feel like the car won't rev up or there is a mechanical "pull" on the truck when you try to accelerate...

Because what you are describing sounds normal for almost any truck if you stomp on it let off and then stomp on it again...

 

Izero is right we need more info. Any Codes?
But start simple if it is the motor bogging you down.
Tune up(Check Plugs, wires and filter, replace whats needed)
Clean your TB.
