hello, im a newbie so please bear with me i have a 2004 2500 ram with a 5.7 hemi, i have the stick type to put the vehicle in 4wd (straight back for 4w hi), the truck seems to engage in 4wd, but no indicator lite in 4wd lo or hi, i did the trip od button while turning the vehicle on and no 4wd lites,
but i also know from other trucks i've had that there is a position switch on the transfer case with a connector, not sure which way to go, only work i had done recently was a txmission fluid and filters replaced,
please help if you can

 

Yup,

Mine too, there's a switch mounted on the transfer case than detents when in 4wd, its gone bad, unless the plug or wiring came loose, but I doubt it. You can download the FSM for your truck from Weedahoe for free, its in his sig. That will get you to the location on the transfer case, plus everything else you need to take care of your truck.
