Wilson,

I can honestly say I've never heard of this.
Now, I see you've already replaced the cluster but was it a new, used or reman. part? Because it seems as though it may be the issue.
I highly recommend getting your 1500 in to your local dealer to get this investigated as it may just need a flash.

It was a brand new cluster and its doing the same exact thing as it did with the old one except as soon as i plugged it in my abs and brake light came on..never did that on the old one!

Wilson,

Any new updates for this issue? As previously mentioned, it's not something that I've heard of and you may want to have the concerns diagnosed by your Dodge Dealer.

If you need any assistance feel free to PM me.

I have not took it to the dealer bc i feel like there is jus a bad ground somewhere in the cab..if its cold outside and i leave my heater off it works fine but when i turn the heatee on inside once it gets warm in the cab it starts doing it again..worse the hotter it gets in the cab

Check the ground under the dash in the pedal frame area.

It is possiable the truck needs a re-flash. Some of the other manufactors require a re-flash when the cluster is replaced.

I thought about the reflash too but it does the same exact thing as it did with the old cluster..wouldnt something change with the new one if it needed reflashed? And i still cant understand why it works when its cold in the cab and doesnt when it warms up
