I have a 2006 ram 1500 4x4..i already have a leveling kit installed and im thinking bout getting new struts..73k on the original struts..my queation is do i need 2longer inch longer struts or no? And will i need an alignment after they are put on?

 

When i put the levelung kit on i didnt replace the struts will longer ones but on my 2ndphone gen i had to

 

Hi, I got 3" leveling kit on my 06 4x4, 5.7, I just installed struts and monroe reflex shocks, they fitted fine and feel no problems with the 35" m/t. Hope this help.

 

Cool u didnt order extended shocks?

 

Mine's a 4x2. When my level kit went on I had an alignment done. New shocks four years later. Never had a problem with topping out on the OEM shocks.

You should have just ordered Bilstein 5100s or Rancho Quick lift struts to begin with. They give you 2 inches of lift and new, better struts in one

 

I agree i shouldve but i hadnt even heard of them till after i ordered the leveling kit

 

i know this is off the subjeck but i have a 2008 ram 1500 4x4 with 2in leveling kit 30,000mi

im not happy with the handleing and the excexive body roll love the level look is there anything i can do to fix the body roll help please
thinking bout takeing the leveling kit out
