New shocks?

New shocks?
Hey all,
So I'm pretty sure I need new shocks sometime soon because my truck bounces up and down a lot when going over bumps. I've read Hammer's post about shocks for lifted trucks but the pickins were slim on there so I was wondering 1. What shocks are good for an 08 2WD with a 6" lift and 2. Where is a good place to get them cheap? Like a buy 3 get one free or just a place that has good deals and does rebates. I'm not looking for the best brand of shocks but obviously I don't want a crappy cheap set. I'm willing to shell out for em as long as it's within reason. Thanks and Happy Veteran's Day to all you vets on here!

I know Hammer has a thread but it only has like 1 or 2 choices for trucks with 4-6" of lift and they are for 4x4s. And yes there are plenty of shock threads but most are for stock or leveled truck where as I have a 6" lift so I would think it changes things a little

You have a 6" lift, you're in a class of truck owners that is expected to be able to afford more expensive parts. "You want to play you've gotta pay" comes to mind.
Not many places offer deals and super sales on over-sized shocks for lifted trucks, I am sure that if you contact the manufacturer of the lift kit you purchased they should be able to tell you what brand works best with your lift, so why not try that route?
