Default Air Inlet Temp sensor unplugged, laying on engine..

I have had my truck for a few months now (2008 Hemi) and today while having a look around under the hood I noticed that the AIT is just laying on the engine. The PO installed an AEM CAI, it has a plugged hole that I'm sure is for this sensor, and I'm going to plug it in shortly, just wondering what problems this might have caused and what I should expect after I get it plugged back in.

Thanks,

-Rex

Well, that took all of about 1 minute. Plug removed, AIT inserted. The idle doesn't seem any different, but I don't guess it should. Maybe I'll notice a difference at temp? Maybe a change in MPG?

If I notice anything I'll post it.
